We are seeking a Controller to join our team and serve as the leader of our Accounting Department.

This is a hands-on opportunity with supervisory and management duties. This position reports directly to the company CEO.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone looking who enjoys running the day-to-day accounting operations and supervising a small accounting team.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supervise the Accounting department, including obtaining an understanding of all functions within the department, cross-training and serving as back-up to the staff when necessary (AP/payroll, AR, and administrative personnel).
• Management and performance of timely and accurate financial reporting and reconciliations
• Manage all aspects of company financial reporting including monthly and quarterly reporting to owners, investors and financial institutions
• Preparation of company budgets, including analysis of budget variances, reporting to management and recommendations
• Assist with cash flow management
• Maintain equipment inventories including facilitating periodic inventory count, evaluating new equipment and contracts
• Generate ad hoc financial schedules and reports to internal management, investors and banks to use for reporting and analysis
• Interface with banking institutions, insurance agents, collection agencies and other outside vendors
• Assist with tax schedules and tax preparation including working with external CPA firm
• Ensure proper internal controls are in place and accurately followed
• Promote within the accounting department effective workflow, high morale, active communication, and strong staff development.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Prior experience in an accounting role at a level of Accounting Manager or above, including supervisory experience
• Knowledge of GAAP, accrual basis accounting and financial reporting
• A polished executive presence and/or experience in working with third party vendors, banking institutions and external accountants
• Ability to operate and navigate PC and MS suite of office products at an advanced level
• Advanced experience with MS Dynamics / Great Plains

Job Summary: Under close supervision, sets up and operates fabricating machines such as punch presses, press brakes, drill press, CNC mill, tube saws and braze sheet machines that trim, punch, cut, shape, notch, draw, crimp, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures.

Responsibilities:

• Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.
• Positions workpiece against fixtures or stops on machine bed or on die.
• Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machines.
• Starts and observes machine operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
• Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
• Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
• Assists more senior staff with setting up machines, and stacking, marking, and transporting finished work pieces.
• Inspects work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjusts machine to correct errors.
• Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for subsequent machining.
• Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.
• Fits and assembles parts into complete assembly.
• Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly.
• Uses tube saw to cut tubes to size.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Job Summary: Welds metal components together using TIG/MIG machine to weld radiator/oil cooler/charger air cooler parts by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities: Ability to meet production expectations and meet quality goals performing the following duties:

• Follows work instructions to ensure proper welding procedures are followed.
• Able to set up TIG/MIG machine: ensures amplifier and volts are set appropriately based on thickness of material.
• Able to understand how to read welding prints/symbols (convert decimals to fractions).
• Able to assemble (tack weld all parts to) whole radiator/oil cooler/charger air cooler according to the print.
• Able to MIG weld (wire feed) aluminum parts .062” to 1.00” thickness.
• Able to TIG weld aluminum parts from .062” to 1.00” thickness.
• Able to TIG/MIG seal weld aluminum variety of baffles, tank ends, and sides to the core.
• Able to TIG/MIG seal weld aluminum fittings/pipe in a circular pattern.
• Able to TIG/MIG seal weld steel surge tanks.
• Able to MIG weld steel weld nuts/brackets to the shrouds, sides and frames
• Able to MIG weld steel shroud corners, joints and shroud moons
• Able to use grinder to grind welds
• Performs preventative maintenance on machine including cleaning, and blowing it out.
• Other duties may be assigned.
